As the 9 Sportsman 2 trucks lined up to take the green flag. One thing was on Ben Wandahsega's mind. WIN!!

As the green flag dropped his tires fell prisoner to the soft loamy dirt and found the Forest County Potawatomi Toyo Tires truck squeezed between Mike Savage and Ken Hallgren. Experience tells a racer be patient. Although Ben started near the back by midpoint of the 9 lap race he managed to work his way up to the 4th position. As Ben was burning off some incredible lap times taking fastest lap times of the entire Sportsman 2 field of 1:32 to nearly a second faster than Baudoux.

3 laps to go and Baudoux got a flat as did Ross Hoek in his Skyjacker truck. That put Ben in first position and an eventual win. Giving the Ben Wandahsega Off-Road Racing team a double podium finish for the weekend and puts us back in the running for a hopeful repeat championship and a momentarily 3rd spot in the points standing for the year.

FCPotawatomi Chairman's Cup Race

FCPotawatomi teammate John Greaves took the overall win home in his 4X4 Toyota Tundra and a purse of nearly $30,000.00 in total winnings.

Ben took the 1st place position in the Sportsman 2 division of racing and a top 10 finish overall. Official results will follow.
