Coldwater, MI—March 29, 2013— After more than a year of development and testing, BDS Suspension is proud to announce the next generation of Jeep control arms is now available for popular Jeep JK, TJ, XJ, MJ, WJ and ZJ applications.

BDS now offers the arms with the option of vulcanized rubber bushings or dual fluted greaseable urethane bushings. The new rubber bushing are durometer specific, OEM quality vulcanized Cleavite rubber bushings for improved longevity and reduced noise. The new arms come preinstalled with rubber bushings and larger 1-3/4″ diameter .250 wall formed control arms. Optional replacement urethane bushings are available separately.

Arms come in fixed lengths with rubber ends or adjustable length utilizing BDS’s new forged flex end (view Forged Flex End press release). The new forged steel flex ends utilize a single sided snap ring design steel ball/polyurethane race construction. Housings are e-coated black and come assembled with grease fittings and black e-coated jam nuts pre-installed.

The new BDS control arms come fully assembled and sold in pairs. They also come standard in new BDS long arm and short arm lift kits, see specific kit applications for more information.

Coldwater, MI—March 29, 2013— BDS Suspension now offers an expanded line of products with the custom builder in mind. New steel forged control arm ends and matching weld in bungs will fill out any custom control arm build sheet. These parts are also included in the next generation of BDS control arms.

New BDS forged steel control arm ends utilize a steel ball and polyurethane races to allow up to 15 degrees of misalignment from center. They are assembled with a single snap ring. Housings are e-coated black and are sold completely assembled and ready to use. Grease fittings and black e-coated jam nuts are included with each end.

Forged flex ends are available in 2 popular sizes. The larger ends use the industry standard 1-1/4″-12 threads. Threads are 4″ long to provide plenty of adjustability without sacrificing thread engagement. The smaller ends use 1″-14 threads and are 3-1/2″ long. These “small” ends boast some of the largest threads in the industry. If custom mounts are not in your future, each of these ends come loaded with common Jeep sized flex balls to allow use in nearly all Jeep OE mounting locations.

Designed to match the BDS forged flex end custom project, BDS now offers weld-in bungs.  The larger bung utilizes 1-1/4″-12 threads and is designed to be welded into 1.5″ ID tubing.  BDS offers two smaller bung sizes with 1″-14 threads, one fits 1-3/8″ ID tubing and the other fits 1-1/4″ ID tubing.

The large and small black e-coated jam nuts are available along with forged flex end rebuild kits.

Coldwater, MI—March 1, 2013—BDS Suspension now offers dual steering stabilizer kits for the 1999-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ.

The WJ has proven itself to be a capable vehicle off-road, however the front steering design is inherent to front end “wheel shimmy” issues at stock height or lifted. This new BDS dual steering stabilizer kit is designed to control front end feedback and improve drivability for both stock and lifted applications.

The stabilizer kit utilizes a pair of hydraulic shocks mounted end-to-end for a seamless look that does not take away from off-road functionality. BDS includes all the necessary hardware and brackets along with step-by-step instructions for a quick and easy installation. Available with your choice of either BDS-5500 shocks or BDS-9500 shocks this dual steering stabilizer kit is a must have for any WJ owner.

Coldwater, MI—September 27, 2012— Now available for the 2012 Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited JK, BDS has new long arm suspension options for improved performance out on the trail as well as additional tire clearance for 37″ tires or larger. In addition to the available 2″, 3″, 4.5″ and 4.5″ long arm kits BDS Suspension has offering a 5.5″ long arm lift kits for the 2012 2-door JK and 6.5″ kits for the 4-door models.

Improving on the factory 4-link the redesigned 4-link long arm improves articulation and control through wheel travel. New mounts are constructed from 1/4″ thick steel and work with the new heavy duty lower flex arms and adjustable upper flex arms to optimize handling characteristics. BDS Pro-Ride coils improve the overall ride quality and offer full coil bind capability for longevity no matter how you use or abuse them.

Also included are a set of ultimate sway bar disconnects (links for Rubicon models), rear sway bar relocation brackets, front and rear braided stainless steel Kevlar lined brake lines, drop pitman arm, bump stop extensions, track bar brackets, and your choice of BDS 5500 hydraulic or Fox 2.0 gas shocks.

Optional accessories for this lift kit include front and rear adjustable track bars and steering stabilizer upgrades.

Jeep TJ Belly Pan

Coldwater, MI—July 26, 2012—Available for the 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ, BDS now offers a heavy duty, high clearance belly pan to offer additional underbody protection for drivetrain components. This Made in the USA belly pan is built from 3/16″ steel and includes corner gussets for added strength. One key benefit to this system over others on the market is the new low profile transmission mount that allows for the additional clearance without requiring motor mount modification.

The BDS belly pan increases ground clearance by 1-1/4″ on the ’03-06 TJ Wranglers and 1/2″ on the ’97-02 models. This system fits on stock and BDS lifted applications as well as most any lifted suspension. The kit includes brackets to fit both automatic and manual transmissions, however minor modifications will be required to fit Rubicon and ’03-06 automatic models. Available in a textured black finish, this belly pan is must have if your Jeep spends time on the rocks.
