Another TDS is in the books. Once again this event drew in crowds by the thousands for a weekend full of four wheeling, camping, and an amazing raffle. BDS Suspension was on hand for this the 49th Annual Tierra Del Sol Desert Safari (TDS) out in the Ocotillo Wells SVRA Park in Southern California. The event started Friday with a steady stream of RVs and other vehicles pouring into the surrounding lands. In addition to countless trails, washes, and notches in the area, the event host TDS 4WD Club of San Diego had a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newest additions to the off-road park. The new park offers a healthy mix of rock gardens, hill climbs, and off camber trails to challenge everyone from the stock JKs to the KOH purpose-built buggies.
BDS set up a booth showing off some of our new products and helping answer questions. Local BDS distributor to the San Diego area Off Road Warehouse (ORW) was onsite with a fully stocked showroom selling everything from gas cans, to lift kits and LED whips. As Saturday night rolled around the masses crowed the stage for a chance at winning some of the awesome prizes offered for the vendor raffle. Everything from complete lift kits, complete axles and tires were included in the raffle. All totaled, the raffle prizes were valued at over $150,000.
This event continues to be a huge success. While at times a bit chaotic, TDS is a awesome event bringing off-road enthusiasts together. Whether you’re into off camber rock crawling or racing 80+ mph through the washes, TDS has something for you.

TDS starts today and runs through the weekend with the gathering of 1500 off-road vehicles and attendance nearing 8000 out in the Mojave Desert for a weekend of 4wheeling in the Ocotillo Wells SVRA Park in Southern California. The event is hosted by the TDS 4WD Club of San Diego and over the last half century has grown into a must see events, with off-road trails, camping, huge vendor show and more.
