We pulled the BDS TJ in the shop yesterday for some steering and suspension tweeks. After 4 years, 2 Ultimate Adventures, 2 trips to Moab, and countless trailrides on the 4×4 Outback Adventure, we are proud to say our production 6.5” longarm suspension has held up to the abuse courageously. Our plan to build a very capable trail rig on a typically wheelers budget with factory Dana30/44 axles and 37” tires has been a success, outside of the occasion, ok more than occasion, u-joint break out on the trail. With the Jeep on the hoist we swapped out the wasted wheel bearings for new units and installed the newly released BDS exclusive Fox 2.0 Performance Series Shocks on all 4 corners. With all the R&D BDS and Fox have put into these shocks we know they perform. Now all we need is some free time to hit the trail, good thing it’s almost the weekend!
Last weekend the crew from BDS Suspension loaded up the trailer and made the 500+ mile trip to York, PA for the 16th Annual All Breeds Jeep Show hosted by the PA Jeeps Club. This family friendly event attracts thousands each year seasoned Jeepers all the way to the entry level first time Jeep owners with plenty to keep everyone happy. This 2-day event grows continues to grow in both size and quality each year and hats off to Rick Bear and all the volunteers from the PA Jeep Club for their hard work on organizing this event. From planning the Jeep show, to working with with Rausch Creek Offroad Park to build the obstacle course, and organizing the vendors around the fairgrounds the club did a great job. BDS set up in the vendor area to talk to customers and show off the Ultimate Adventure TJ that we just so happened to forget to wash after our last wheeling trip to the 4×4 Outback Adventure . BDS Distributors Hoak’s 4WD, Apple Hill 4×4, and Krawl Works made it out to show off their Jeeps and have a good time. Thanks again to everyone that stopped by the booth to say hi. We stayed busy throughout most of the show, put snapped some photos when we had a chance, hope you enjoy. PA Jeeps All Breeds Jeep Show: York, PA July 16-17, 2011

It’s summertime and with that comes an influx of 4wheeling and offroad events on the company calendar. This past weekend BDS loaded up the truck and trailer and made the journey out of Coldwater, MI a few states over to Bloomsburg, PA for the Bloomsburg 4Wheel Jamboree Nationals. With thousands in attendance, obstacle course, bikini contest, and tons of vendors on hand with show specials and giveaway items. BDS set up a booth with local distributor Apple Hill 4×4 out of Muncy, PA to show off some of our latest products and talk to customers. The Jamborees are known for attracting trucks, Jeeps and custom creations of all kinds and this year sure didn’t disappoint. Throughout the event we chatted with satisfied customers which is always great to hear. Family Events had fireworks on Sunday to closing out another great 4Wheel Jamboree.
Ben Parker sent us some photos of his two storm chasing trucks out searching for the tornado activity that has devastated so much of the country this year already. For chase vehicles, Ben uses his Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon dubbed the Rescue Rubicon which features a plethora of upgrades including a BDS 6.5” Long Arm Suspension Lift Kit and 37” MT/Rs. In addition to the JK, Ben also chases in his Dodge Ram 2500 featuring a BDS 6” Long Arm Suspension Lift Kit and 37′s as well. This past Spring we met up with Ben in Moab and snapped some shots of this awesome JK out on the trails. Good luck chasing Ben, be safe, and have fun out there on the trails.
