As in years past, Indy didn’t disappoint. Along with playing host to the “Manning Bowl”, this past weekend Indianapolis played host to the 4Wheel Jamboree bringing in truck and Jeep enthusiasts of all kinds. BDS hit the road for the short 3-hour trip south from Coldwater to Indianapolis with truck and trailer for the weekend’s events. The jamboree attracts rigs of all kinds, from stock TJs to the diesel rigs on tractor tires. Although there was a healthy mix of all vehicles, GM seemed to have the largest turnout. Among the events at the show, the Mud Drags and Monster Trucks and Burnout Competition drew the largest crowds. Trucks parked throughout the fairgrounds for the show-n-shine. Vendors set up behind the grand stands with deals and special offers for those looking to buy. As with past shows BDS was at the event working closely with our local distributors, which around Indy is Truck Gear by Tillman’s. BigFoot 1 and BigFoot 4 were on site cruising the fairgrounds as they tower over the crowd. GM Performance set up their trailer showcasing their Silverado ZR2 Concept sporting a BDS 4’’ High Clearance Kit and 35’’ tires (check back a few blog posts to get the details).
We had a blast over the weekend with all the festivities and watching the custom rigs touring the fairgrounds. Our cornhole competition was hit and had tons of people stopping by to take a shot a free BDS t-shirt. Our big surprise grabbed a ton of attention, a sneak peek of our new kits offerings for the 2011 Chevy/GMC 2500HD trucks, details to follow soon. This jamboree also gave us a chance to hear from BDS customers and there were plenty at Indy. We jumped at the opportunity to photograph some awesome BDS-lifted trucks and make some new friends over the course of the weekend. Thanks to Chris and Scott for taking the time to let us get some great shots of your trucks.
We had a blast and come back from Indy with a ton of great stories to tell. This well organized event is always a success and we can’t wait for next year!
