These systems upgrade the factory stamped steel radius arms to a high strength 4-link offering improved handling, stability, strength and caster control during wheel travel. The 4-link brackets are built from 1/4" steel and key off the factory frame bracket and transmission crossmember for extra strength. Full length 4" ProRide diesel or gas specific coil springs are used for the additional ride height paired with your choice of BDS NX2 series gas shocks or FOX 2.0 IFP performance gas shocks for a smooth ride on any terrain. A forged drop pitman arm and heavy duty track bar relocation bracket are supplied to correct steering angles and recenter the front axle. Also supplied for the front are bump stop extensions to limit suspension compression, sway bar drop brackets to correct the sway bar positioning, and brake line relocation brackets. In the rear of these 4" systems BDS offers the your choice of replacement rear lift blocks or replacement GlideRide leaf springs. Either option will level out the stance, the spring replacement has the added benefits of an integrated overload leaf for additional load capacity. Additionally high strength black e-coated u-bolts are supplied along with a pair of matching NX2 or FOX 2.0 gas shocks to compliment the front setup for all around impressive performance. BDS takes your new Super Duty to the next level with the 4" 4-link coilover conversion system. These systems are based around the tried and true 4-link conversion offering improved stability, strength and caster control during wheel travel compared to the factory radius arm setup. The 4-link brackets are built from 1/4" steel and key off the factory frame bracket and transmission crossmember for extra strength and utilize heavy wall 2" OD DOM control arms to correctly position the front axle. In place of the factory coil these system upgrade to a pair of specially tuned FOX 2.5 factory series remote reservoir coilovers to take your Super Duty to the next level in performance. Available with the standard remote reservoir as well as an optional DSC (dual speed compression) adjustable reservoir, these coilovers are preset right out of the box for optimal performance with the weight of the 6.7L Powerstroke diesel engine and are an easy install using the supplied frame and axle mounting brackets. Paired to these FOX coilovers are a set of auxiliary FOX 2.0 IFP performance gas shocks to further enhance dampening for a smooth ride on any terrain. A forged drop pitman arm and heavy duty track bar relocation bracket are supplied to correct steering angles and recenter the front axle. Also supplied for the front are bump stop extensions to limit suspension compression, sway bar drop brackets to correct the sway bar positioning, and brake line relocation brackets.
In the rear of these 4" systems BDS offers multiple lift options for both the OE 2-leaf main spring pack and OE 3-leaf main spring pack equipped trucks. The first option is a 5" replacement block and u-bolt kit for the 3-leaf trucks. The blocks are built from high strength, fully boxed steel with an integrated bump stop wing. Both the blocks and u-bolts are finished in a durable black e-coat finish. Finishing off the rear of this kit are a pair of matching FOX 2.0 gas shocks to compliment the front setup for all around impressive performance. At the heart of this system is a pair of heavy duty radius arms built to withstand whatever abuse you can throw at them. Built from 1-3/4" OD -10GA DOM tubing with support gussets, these replacement arms are far superior to the factory stamped steel units. They use a high clearance design for extra ground clearance and are formed inward to allow for additional clearance of oversized tires. They incorporate factory style 3-1/4" rubber bushings to minimize road vibrations and allow for a long, maintenance-free bushing life. The arms bolt into the factory mounting points and reposition the front axle to correct caster angle. The additional 4" of lift comes from a pair of full length diesel of gas specific ProRide coil springs. These paired with your choice of BDS NX2 series gas shocks or the precision tuned FOX 2.0 performance gas shocks offer a smooth ride and improved control over rough terrain. To improve steering angles a forged drop pitman arm is supplied with an integrated drag link flip. Used in combination with the 1/4" thick heavy duty track bar drop bracket will position the front axle and keep the track bar angle in phase with the steering for improved handling. Also included for the front suspension are a pair of sway bar relocation brackets, bump stop extensions, brake line relocation brackets and a NX2 series steering stabilizer with mounting bracket. Out back a you have the option of a 4.5" fabricated block with integrated bump stop wing is used in place of the factory block to level the stance or upgrade to GlideRide rear leaf springs. These springs integrate a overload leaf for increased load capacity while offering smooth on-road ride quality. Longer black e-coated u-bolts and your choice of NX2 or FOX 2.0 shocks round out this 4" radius arm lift system.

Shotpeening increases tensile strength and reduces fatigue while lessening the material thickness required. The thinner material allows for increased wheel travel and provides a softer ride.
Bolt-style leaf alignment clamps prevent leaves from fanning out and allow the leaves to twist and flex, yielding higher articulation.
Each spring is preset using hydraulic stress to reduce fatigue in the steel and prevent sagging.
Some applications include leaf springs with steel encased rubber bushings. Other applications include blue urethane bushings.
Anti-friction pads are placed between the leaves to reduce friction within the spring and noise from metal-to-metal contact.
Tapered and roll-pointed leaves add flexibility and provides an even deflection rate. Tapering allows a smoother transition between leaves as compression takes place, resulting in a softer ride with increased wheel travel.
Springs are either cold wound with chrome silicon 9254 or hot wound with 5160 to guarantee long life.
BDS coil springs are designed to withstand full coil bind. In other words, you can smash our coils to totally flat and they will return to their original height.
A polyester based powder coat is applied to ensure flexibility and durability.
Each spring is preset with a hydraulic stress to reduce fatigue in the steel and prevent sagging.
Shotpeening increases tensile strength and allows for maximum wheel travel without sacrificing the life of the spring.
