Designed to bring the front end up level with the rear while offering clearance for larger tires. Unlike the traditional "spacer" kits on the market, this performance option is designed to not only enhance the look, but also the ride and overall performance of your Super Duty.
At the heart of this 2" performance kit is a pair of dual rate ProRide coil springs, designed specifically for newer model F250s (nets 1" lift on 17-19 models). These dual springs utilize a softer intial spring rate over factory for improved on-road comfort, while also using a higher secondary spring rate to provide stability and performance in harsh terrains. A common item missed with leveling kits is the recentering the axle to keep the springs from hitting the frame. BDS provides a high strength track bar relocation bracket to properly center the axle at the new ride height, along with your choice of NX2 twin tube gas or FOX 2.0 Performance Series monotube IFP shocks to further dial in the comfort and control of your F250/F350. These shocks are provided at all 4 corners to up your truck's performance.

These kits use full length ProRide coil springs designed to improve the stance of your Super Duty while taking performance, capability and ride quality to the next level with clearance for 35" tires. In place of the factory stamped steel arms this kit upgrades to heavy duty BDS radius arms. These brawny arms are built from 1-3/4" OD heavy wall tubing, fully welded with gussets for superior strength to the factory units light weight stamped steel units they are replacing. The heavy wall tubular construction improves strength while correcting caster with a lower cam slot. At the frame mount a large OE-style rubber bushing is used to better isolate of NHVs and allow for quiet operation without any need for maintenance. These bushings offer superior durability and quieter operation than arms with heims and flex joints. Also upgraded as part of these new 2.5" lift systems is a high strength replacement track bar designed to recenter the front axle with the lift installed. This new track bar is adjustable, built from 1-3/8" solid steel stock with gusseted ends and a fine thread center turnbuckle with pinch bolts. The track bar comes pre-assembled and ready to bolt into the factory location to adjust to length. At one end these use a greaseable, high-durometer polyurethane bushing and the other end a heavy duty ball joint. This setup offer strength, comfort and quiet operation over track bars that use heims. Rounding out the front of these kits are front brake line relocation brackets to allow enough slack in the lines to cycle the suspension offroad while the sway bar relocation brackets to correct sway bar operating angle for optimal performance without sacrificing approach angle.
In the rear, these kits use a 1" bolt-on lift block and new black e-coated u-bolts to level stance while retaining the factory rear springs for ride quality and tow capacity. Finishing out the rear are a pair of NX2 or FOX 2.0 performance series gas shocks to compliment the front performance. This kit builds on the BDS radius arm design to convert the front springs over to FOX 2.5 Performance Elite (PE) coilovers. These systems are based around the tried and true 4-link conversion offering improved stability, strength and caster control during wheel travel compared to the factory radius arm setup. The 4-link brackets are built from 1/4" steel and key off the factory frame bracket and transmission crossmember for extra strength and utilize heavy wall 2" OD DOM control arms to correctly position the front axle. In place of the factory coil these system upgrade to a pair of specially tuned FOX 2.5 factory series remote reservoir coilovers to take your Super Duty to the next level in performance. Available with the standard remote reservoir as well as an optional DSC (dual speed compression) adjustable reservoir, these coilovers are preset right out of the box for optimal performance with the weight of the 6.7L Powerstroke diesel engine and are an easy install using the supplied frame and axle mounting brackets. Paired to these FOX coilovers are a set of auxiliary FOX 2.0 IFP performance gas shocks to further enhance dampening for a smooth ride on any terrain. In the rear of these 4" systems BDS offers multiple lift options for both the OE 2-leaf main spring pack and OE 3-leaf main spring pack equipped trucks. The first option is a 5" replacement block and u-bolt kit for the 3-leaf trucks. The blocks are built from high strength, fully boxed steel with an integrated bump stop wing. Both the blocks and u-bolts are finished in a durable black e-coat finish. Finishing off the rear of this kit are a pair of matching FOX 2.0 gas shocks to compliment the front setup for all around impressive performance. Built from 1-3/4" OD -10GA DOM tubing with support gussets, these replacement arms are far superior to the factory stamped steel units. They use a high clearance design for extra ground clearance and are formed inward to allow for additional clearance of oversized tires. They incorporate factory style 3-1/4" rubber bushings to minimize road vibrations and allow for a long, maintenance-free bushing life. The arms bolt into the factory mounting points and reposition the front axle to correct caster angle. The additional 4" of lift comes from a pair of full length diesel of gas specific ProRide coil springs. These paired with your choice of BDS NX2 series gas shocks or the precision tuned FOX 2.0 performance gas shocks offer a smooth ride and improved control over rough terrain. To improve steering angles a forged drop pitman arm is supplied with an integrated drag link flip. Stepping up to the 8", these systems use a heavy duty front 4-link control arm conversion to upgrade the factory stamped steel radius arms for improved strength, handling, and caster control. This setup is based off BDS's tried and true 4-link setup keying off the factory radius arm frame mount and ties into the frame rail and transmission crossmember for an extremely rigid control arm mount. The brackets are build from high strength 1/4" steel, come fully welded and finished in a durable textured black powdercoat with riveted BDS nameplates. The upper and lower control arms are built from heavy wall 2" OD DOM steel tubing with massive 2-1/2" greaseable frame mount bushings and reinforced clevis mounts to attach at the axle.
This kit uses full length ProRide coil springs to provide the lift an eliminate any potential coil bowing. Pairing with the springs are your choice of BDS NX2 or FOX 2.0 IFP performance gas shocks enhance damper performance for a smooth ride on any terrain. Steering correction come in the form of a forged drop pitman arm and heavy duty track bar relocation bracket. This brings the drag link angle closer to factory and keeps the steering angles in line with the relocated track bar for improved drivability and a recentered front axle. Also supplied for the front are bump stop extensions to limit suspension compression, sway bar drop brackets to correct the sway bar positioning, replacement NX2 steering stabilizer and extended length braided stainless steel brake lines. The new front driveline design requires correction when installing the 8" lift to retain use of 4WD at any speed. To do this BDS supplies a high strength transfer case indexing ring specific to the 8" systems to rotate the front output of the transfer case down to improve the front driveline operating angle. The indexing ring uses ARP studs and includes new mounting hardware. BDS also supplies a heavy duty replacement transmission crossmember and new transfer case mounting bracket for additional clearance.
In the rear of these 8" systems BDS supplies full replacement Glideride leaf springs to provide full lift height and increased capacity with a built in overload spring. Finishing off the rear of this kit is a rear brake line relocation bracket as well as a pair of matching NX2 or FOX 2.0 gas shocks to compliment the front setup for all around impressive performance. BDS supplies a high strength transfer case indexing ring to rotate the front output of the transfer case down to correct the front driveline operating angle at the new lift height. The indexing ring uses ARP studs and includes new mounting hardware. Also supplied is a heavy duty replacement transmission crossmember to create additional clearance.
The rear is lifted with full replacement BDS Glideride leaf springs to provide the lift needed to level the stance. Shotpeening increases tensile strength and reduces fatigue while lessening the material thickness required. The thinner material allows for increased wheel travel and provides a softer ride.
Bolt-style leaf alignment clamps prevent leaves from fanning out and allow the leaves to twist and flex, yielding higher articulation.
Each spring is preset using hydraulic stress to reduce fatigue in the steel and prevent sagging.
Some applications include leaf springs with steel encased rubber bushings. Other applications include blue urethane bushings.
Anti-friction pads are placed between the leaves to reduce friction within the spring and noise from metal-to-metal contact.
Tapered and roll-pointed leaves add flexibility and provides an even deflection rate. Tapering allows a smoother transition between leaves as compression takes place, resulting in a softer ride with increased wheel travel.
Springs are either cold wound with chrome silicon 9254 or hot wound with 5160 to guarantee long life.
BDS coil springs are designed to withstand full coil bind. In other words, you can smash our coils to totally flat and they will return to their original height.
A polyester based powder coat is applied to ensure flexibility and durability.
Each spring is preset with a hydraulic stress to reduce fatigue in the steel and prevent sagging.
Shotpeening increases tensile strength and allows for maximum wheel travel without sacrificing the life of the spring.
