All BDS Suspension lift kits come with the security of knowing you purchased the finest lift kit in the aftermarket suspension industry. We back our commitment to engineering reliable, quality 4x4 off-road Jeep and truck suspension products with our unique "No BS Hardcore Lifetime Warranty".
If you are the original purchaser of any BDS lift kit and it breaks, we will give you a new part. Period.
The new BDS Suspension 5.5" suspension system is design with our tried-and-true steering knuckle and crossmember technology. The system has passed FMVSS126 testing for stability control compliance. Heavy-duty fabricated crossmembers drop the lower control arms, perfectly matching the massive ductile cast iron extended steering knuckles to gain 5.5" of lift.
The crossmembers utilize the factory alignment eccentrics and tie together with a full-width skid plate. The skid plate protects the relocated differential that has been lowered and positioned to work precisely with the included transfer case indexing ring, allowing for the factory front drive shaft to be used.
The factory front struts are relocated using upper strut extensions that do not require disassembly of the strut. Front bump stop extension and sway bar links are included as well as new Moog tie rod ends to properly set alignment without trimming the inner tie rods.
In the rear, as simple block/u-bolt combination sets the new ride height so it is level with the front. Fox 2.0 or NX² series rear shocks are available to finish out the back.

BDS raises the bar once again with new 5.5" Performance Coilover Systems for the Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon. Designed around the tried-and-true steering knuckle and crossmember technology, these kits provide enough lift fit 33" tires while maintaining the OE suspension geometry for smooth handling and ride characteristics.
This system uses a pair of heavy duty 1/4" steel high clearance crossmembers to reposition the lower control arms and work in unison with the massive ductile cast iron extended steering knuckles. The crossmembers utilize the factory alignment eccentrics and tie together with a full-width skid plate. The skid plate protects vital front end components for offroad use and ties the crossmembers together for an extremely rigid sub-frame. The front differential is relocated to keep CV axle angles at a minimum and function properly with the supplied transfer case indexing ring. This allows for the use of the factory front driveline once lifted. Front bump stop extension and sway bar links are included as well as new heavy duty Moog tie rod ends to properly set alignment without trimming the inner tie rods.
In place of the factory struts this system uses precision tuned FOX 2.5 remote reservoir coil-overs to achieve superior on and offroad performance. The included Fox 2.5 coil-overs can also be upgraded to the DSC (dual speed compression) adjuster equipped coil-overs for the ability to perfectly fine tune the ride quality and handling.
Finishing off this new 5.5" coilover system, a 4" rear block/u-bolt kit sets the new ride height and levels the stance. Specially tuned FOX 2.0 series IFP gas shocks are supplied to compliment the front coilovers and improve the Colorado/Canyon's performance on or offroad.

Shotpeening increases tensile strength and reduces fatigue while lessening the material thickness required. The thinner material allows for increased wheel travel and provides a softer ride.
Bolt-style leaf alignment clamps prevent leaves from fanning out and allow the leaves to twist and flex, yielding higher articulation.
Each spring is preset using hydraulic stress to reduce fatigue in the steel and prevent sagging.
Some applications include leaf springs with steel encased rubber bushings. Other applications include blue urethane bushings.
Anti-friction pads are placed between the leaves to reduce friction within the spring and noise from metal-to-metal contact.
Tapered and roll-pointed leaves add flexibility and provides an even deflection rate. Tapering allows a smoother transition between leaves as compression takes place, resulting in a softer ride with increased wheel travel.
Springs are either cold wound with chrome silicon 9254 or hot wound with 5160 to guarantee long life.
BDS coil springs are designed to withstand full coil bind. In other words, you can smash our coils to totally flat and they will return to their original height.
A polyester based powder coat is applied to ensure flexibility and durability.
Each spring is preset with a hydraulic stress to reduce fatigue in the steel and prevent sagging.
Shotpeening increases tensile strength and allows for maximum wheel travel without sacrificing the life of the spring.
