If you are the original purchaser of any BDS lift kit and it breaks, we will give you a new part. Period.
In place of the factory stamped steel arms this kit upgrades to heavy duty BDS radius arms. These brawny arms are built from 1-3/4" OD heavy wall tubing, fully welded with gussets for superior strength to the factory units light weight stamped steel units they are replacing. The heavy wall tubular construction improves strength while correcting caster with a lower cam slot. At the frame mount a large OE-style rubber bushing is used to better isolate of NHVs and allow for quiet operation without any need for maintenance. These bushings offer superior durability and quieter operation than arms with heims and flex joints. Also upgraded as part of these new 3" lift systems is a high strength replacement track bar designed to recenter the front axle with the lift installed. This new track bar is adjustable, built from 1-3/8" solid steel stock with gusseted ends and a fine thread center turnbuckle with pinch bolts. The track bar comes pre-assembled and ready to bolt into the factory location to adjust to length. At one end these use a greaseable, high-durometer polyurethane bushing and the other end a heavy duty ball joint. This setup offer strength, comfort and quiet operation over track bars that use heims. Rounding out the front of these kits are front brake line relocation brackets to allow enough slack in the lines to cycle the suspension offroad while the sway bar relocation brackets to correct sway bar operating angle for optimal performance without sacrificing approach angle.
In the rear, these kits use a 1" bolt-on lift block and new black e-coated u-bolts to level stance while retaining the factory rear springs for ride quality and tow capacity. Finishing out the rear are a pair of NX2 or FOX 2.0 performance series gas shocks to compliment the front performance. At the heart of this system is a pair of heavy-duty radius arms built to withstand whatever abuse you can throw at them. Built from 1-3/4" OD tubing with support gussets, these replacement arms are far superior to the factory stamped steel units. They use a high clearance design for extra ground clearance and are formed inward to allow for additional clearance of oversized tires. They incorporate factory style 3-1/4" rubber bushings to minimize road vibrations and allow for a long, maintenance-free bushing life. The arms bolt into the factory mounting points and reposition the front axle to correct caster angle. The additional 5" of lift comes from a pair of diesel or gas specific coil springs. These paired with your choice of BDS NX2 series gas shocks or the precision tuned FOX 2.0 performance gas shocks offer a smooth ride and improved control over rough terrain. To improve steering angles a forged drop pitman arm is supplied with an integrated drag link flip. Used in combination with the 1/4" thick heavy duty track bar drop bracket will position the front axle and keep the track bar angle in phase with the steering for improved handling. Also included for the front suspension are a pair of sway bar relocation brackets, bump stop extensions, brake line relocation brackets and a NX2 series steering stabilizer with mounting bracket.
Out back a you have the option of a 3" fabricated block with integrated bump stop wing is used in place of the factory block to level the stance or upgrade to replacement rear leaf springs. These springs integrate an overload leaf for increased load capacity while offering smooth on-road ride quality. Longer black e-coated u-bolts and your choice of NX2 or FOX 2.0 shocks round out this 5" radius arm lift system.

Shotpeening increases tensile strength and reduces fatigue while lessening the material thickness required. The thinner material allows for increased wheel travel and provides a softer ride.
Bolt-style leaf alignment clamps prevent leaves from fanning out and allow the leaves to twist and flex, yielding higher articulation.
Each spring is preset using hydraulic stress to reduce fatigue in the steel and prevent sagging.
Some applications include leaf springs with steel encased rubber bushings. Other applications include blue urethane bushings.
Anti-friction pads are placed between the leaves to reduce friction within the spring and noise from metal-to-metal contact.
Tapered and roll-pointed leaves add flexibility and provides an even deflection rate. Tapering allows a smoother transition between leaves as compression takes place, resulting in a softer ride with increased wheel travel.
Springs are either cold wound with chrome silicon 9254 or hot wound with 5160 to guarantee long life.
BDS coil springs are designed to withstand full coil bind. In other words, you can smash our coils to totally flat and they will return to their original height.
A polyester based powder coat is applied to ensure flexibility and durability.
Each spring is preset with a hydraulic stress to reduce fatigue in the steel and prevent sagging.
