Improve the stance, performance, and off-road capability of your 2011-2019 Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra 2500HD 4WD with the BDS 6.5-inch lift kit. Engineered for maximum ground clearance and serious durability, this system features BDS’s innovative No Torsion Bar Drop design, which mounts the torsion bars directly to the top of the lower control arms to eliminate the need for a dropped torsion bar crossmember. The result is increased clearance under the truck along with improved off-road protection and capability. Designed to clear up to 37-inch tires, this kit delivers the aggressive look and performance heavy-duty truck owners demand.

Built around BDS’s proven high-clearance suspension design, this system improves ground clearance while maintaining excellent on-road handling and ride quality. Up front, the kit includes heavy-duty torsion bar relocation brackets, high-arched 1/4-inch steel crossmembers, multi-piece differential relocation brackets, and rugged skid plates for added strength and protection on the trail. Suspension and steering geometry are corrected using CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles to provide confident handling and proper alignment at the new ride height. Also included are sway bar links, bump stop extensions, stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary installation hardware to create a complete and dependable suspension system ready for daily driving, towing, or off-road adventures.

Out back, BDS offers multiple rear lift block options so you can dial in the exact stance you want for your truck. A 3-inch rear block provides a level stance front to rear, while the optional 4-inch rear block retains approximately half of the factory rake for a slightly nose-high appearance that works well for towing and hauling. For drivers wanting a more traditional heavy-duty truck stance, the 5-inch rear block restores most of the factory rake while still complementing the lifted front suspension. Each option is designed to maintain excellent ride quality and load-carrying capability. A heavy-duty u-bolt flip kit is also included to maximize ground clearance and reduce the risk of trail damage.

To tailor the ride and performance to your driving style, this kit is available with precision-tuned NX2 Nitro shocks, FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks, or upgraded FOX 2.5 Performance Elite shocks with DSC adjustment. The FOX 2.5 Performance Elite package features large 2.5-inch aluminum shock bodies, remote reservoirs for increased cooling capacity, and Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjusters that allow separate tuning of high-speed and low-speed compression damping. This gives drivers the ability to fine-tune ride comfort, handling, and off-road performance for everything from smooth highway cruising to aggressive off-road terrain and high-speed desert driving.

High Clearance Crossmembers

BDS maximizes ground clearance with their heavy duty 1/4-inch thick laser cut perfect fit crossmembers. Paired with a front skid plate system that bolts together to create a rigid subframe while adding extra protection.

Heavy Duty Steering Knuckles

BDS corrects steering geometry at the new taller ride height using a pair of high-strength, CNC machined ductile cast iron steering knuckle design to work with factory tie rod ends to maintain steering angles for proper function.

Rear Lift Option

Determine if your truck was manufactured with or without top-mounted overload springs on the rear leaf springs.

  • 3" block - Will result in a slightly tail-low stance.
  • 4" block - Most common for level front/rear stance.
  • 5" block - Will result in a level to slightly tail high stance, integrates a u-bolt flip kit with new spring plate.

  1. Torsion Bar Tool required to load/unload the torsion bars.
  2. 3" rear block kit recommended for dually applications, 5" rear block kit will not fit dually applications.
  3. Stock 17" & 18" wheels cannot be reinstalled.
  4. Stock 20" x 8.5" wheels with 6.18" backspaing MAY fit with a max tire size of 37x12.50 on certain tire sidewall profiles due to clearance to the steering knuckle and sway bar. A minimum 1/4" wheel spacer may be required due to tire side wall profile variations. A wider tire will cause clearance issues with the steering knuckle.
  5. Factory dually wheels cannot be reinstalled.
  6. Models with two piece rear driveshaft may require #121612.
  7. If minor front driveline vibration occurs at highway speeds while in 4wd and the vehicle will be used in this situation on a regular basis, we recommend replacing the front driveshaft with a dual Cardan style driveshaft.
