Was on the fence due to price, but finally caved, and bought the FOX shock version and so glad I did. Two inches is the perfect hieght; the looks is perfect and the ride quality is amazing. It's not bouncy at all, but can take bumps and pot holes, like they are not there. Feels like we are driving a truck from 2020 or newer.
Easy to install. taking the track bar bolt out of one end helped make it easier too install the spacers. Followed their instructions that came with the kit
Also, I don't feel like my fillings are gonna fall out of my teeth when I take a speed bump a little fast. I talked to Dylan (@BDS) about which version to get since it was a 3500 long bed. The valving of the shocks are also set up for the truck too (their kits are done that way) so perhaps that is another reason why it rides so well and handles things like a champ.
The look of the FOX shock looks impressive and tuff and we even did some work to the frame (undercoating) and springs (gloss black). The key to both was to use Rust-oleum's Rust Reformer spray first (converts the rust to a primer) then once it sat for 24hrs to fully cure, we put the undercoating and paint on. We also have the FOX dual steering stabilizer, that BDS sells; so this make the whole look even better.
Very impressed with BDS, in not only the quality of the parts, but how helpful they are and their great customer service. If you are on the fence, get the FOX, so worth it!
